Not to be confused with the more widely available, faster-burning and lower-temperature softwood variety of briquette, our eco-logs are made exclusively from HARDWOODS including Cypress, Compass, Oak, Ash, Sapele, Walnut and Marenti. As with all products (eg furniture) manufactured from timber, our superior quality hardwood eco-logs easily out-perform their cheaper softwood cousins - in terms of heat produced and period of burn, the softwood varieties just cannot compete. We know - we tested many different types of eco-log briquette before opting easily for those we now build our business around.
